Operation Christmas Child:

American Lutheran School is hosting an all school service project to bless children in a third world country through Operation Christmas Child. Each class will be filling shoeboxes with small toys, school supplies and hygiene items to be sent through Samaritan’s Purse. Teachers will be posting signup sheets for specific items for this project. The deadline for turning in items is Thursday, November 10. If your family would like to prepare a box (or two!) of your own, we will be sending home a brochure with more information. You may bring your families’ box to the preschool office by the 10th, and we will take it to the collection center. There is a $10 fee for shipping each box. Checks should be made out to “ALS” and we will send one big check. Thank you for supporting this project!

November Progress Reports:

Watch your parent file for your child’s progress report the second week of November. This will let you know how your student is doing in school and what you can be doing to support their learning. You may request anther progress report from the preschool office at any time as needed. Our official parent teacher conferences are in early February.
