We are going “Back to Normal” in May!
As our community and church move to less Covid 19 restrictions we are making some positive changes as well. This is what it will look like:
Student Check in: Beginning in May, we will be moving our check in and out INSIDE the school. Masks are optional. The door will be unlocked from 8 – 8:30 am. The check in computer and Early Bird/Lunch Bunch signups will be on the counter outside the preschool office. You will check your student in and walk them to their classroom. White boards will be posted outside each class. Teachers will open their doors at 8:30 am to receive students.
Early Bird will be available at 8:00 am for $3.00 per day.
Lunch Bunch will be available from 11:30 – 1:00 pm for $7.00 per day. Please put lunches in the refrigerator on your teacher’s shelf.
Student Check Out: Outside doors are unlocked at 11:25 for pick up. You may ring the bell at any time to come inside. Check your student out on the computer and pick them up inside the classroom when the teacher opens the door at 11:30 – come see what they have been doing! Please be aware there is a $7 late fee for students who are not picked up by 11:30.
May Special Events: We will have our Mother’s Day Tea and our Preschool Graduation inside ALL together! More details below.

As we wrap up our busy year, please be aware of the dates that lunch bunch is not available.
MOTHER’S DAY TEA: Your children have been working hard and are excited to show you how much they love the women in their lives with a special program and tea. All mothers, aunts, grandmothers, and other special ladies are invited to this special occasion. You should have received your invitation last week.

Please arrive 5 minutes prior to the time listed above so that we can begin on time. It is a short program, and you won't want to miss it! Following the program, we will have tea and cake upstairs in the Fellowship Hall.
PRESCHOOL GRADUATION We are so proud of our 30 students who will graduate to Kindergarten next year! We are planning an all school Chapel and Ceremony followed by a reception on Friday, May 21, beginning at 10:30 am in the Sanctuary. All families are invited to join us in this celebration.

A Note from the American Lutheran School Board: We would like to honor and celebrate our wonderful preschool staff with a luncheon and gift at the end of the school year! If you would like to contribute to making these ladies feel special, please drop any donations (cash or checks made out to ALS luncheon) into the teacup basket at the sign in counter by May 14 and we will organize a nice lunch and gifts for them on May 21st based on what we receive. Thank you!
