American Lutheran School is an intentional enrichment program adding to the nurturing foundations parents are providing at home.
We are a preschool only program dedicated to the spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of our students
in the context of a loving, enriching environment that is intentionally CHRIST-CENTERED.
Our program provides a variety
of learning experiences.
Children explore their environment with guidance by participating in activities in which they can experience success
and spiritual growth.
Morning Pre-School
for ages 3-5
Our school hours are
8:30 am - 11:30 am
with extended care available
until 1:00 pm.
Our Ratio is 1 teacher to 12 students
in each classroom with assistance
by an aide 1-2 days per week.
Children must be 3 years old
by August 31st and toilet-trained
before they enroll.
Children are expected to be able to use the bathroom and dress independently.
We offer a 2 or 3 day program
for 3-5 year olds
and a 5-day pre-K program
for 4 and 5 year olds
who will attend kindergarten
the following school year.
In addition, we offer early morning
and lunch care daily,
8:00 am to 8:30 am
and 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
A minimal fee is charged.

Welcome to American Lutheran School
2024-2025 marks American Lutheran Schools’ 36th year serving families with young children in the Prescott, AZ area. We offer an intentional enrichment program, supplementing the nurturing foundation parents provide at home. Our goal is to foster an enriching partnership between teachers and families to bring out the best in each student. Our school is a special place for children to come and learn about the world God so wonderfully created. We encourage each child to develop his/her unique abilities by providing hands-on learning experiences. Academic skills are incorporated regularly through a wide variety of fun activities.
Our purpose is to instill the strong roots of God's love and His Word in the children we serve. We are an intentional enrichment program; enhancing what families are doing at home in the areas of spiritual growth, academics, and socialization. Our goal is to prepare our students and their families for the next step in their educational journey.
