Mrs. Jennifer Garber

Teaching is an absolute passion of mine and what I have always wanted to do.  Although this is my first year at American Lutheran School, I have been teaching Sunday school at American Lutheran Church for over five years. I absolutely love preschoolers and the joy of watching them learn and become confident and independent is amazing!

I attended Arizona State University and Yavapai College for several semesters and for the past 30 years I have worked in various areas of hospitality.  For the last 20 of those years, I have owned and operated a full-service event planning company.

I am married to my wonderful husband, Mike and I have three children. My daughter {Kelsey} is 24, my son {Nicholas} is 13 and my son {Luke} is 11. They take up most of my free time, but some hobbies that I enjoy are crafting, reading and throwing parties!

I have lived in Prescott for over 20 years and I am the middle child of three girls. I was raised in a home that spoke of Christian values, but a relationship with God and attendance at church was not part of our regular routine.  In high school I sought a church home and ultimately was baptized when I was 15.  Although there have been times in my relationship with God that I have struggled understanding what faith really means, at my core I never stopped knowing in my heart who God is.  My family and I attend a local non-denominational Christian church here in Prescott.
